About Merina

Merina was founded by students at Johns Hopkins University who witnessed firsthand the challenges patients with chronic and genetic conditions face in managing their care across fragmented healthcare systems.

Built within the Johns Hopkins ecosystem, Merina brings together clinical insight, technical precision, and a deep understanding of the coordination challenges in long-term care management.

The platform is designed to support physician-led care by organizing patient-generated data into standardized formats that reduce preparation time, improve continuity across providers, and allow consultations to focus on clinical decisions rather than history reconstruction.
